So I’m sure that you’ve all seen the brand new Barry M Gelly collection that has been released recently, and I’ve been dying to get an off-white-not-quite-cream polish for ages, because – can you believe – I don’t have one.

Behold….. Barry M Gelly Coconut!

I have been waiting so ridiculously long to do these, and I’m pretty sure my family have asked me to do them more times than I can count.

Despicable Minions Nail Art

They are really easy to paint – all you need is a small paintbrush and a dotting tool, plus yellow, blue, grey, black and white polishes!

Review: W7 Fuschia

This is a press sample.

This polish is one I picked up at the W7 press day last year, and unbelievably, it’s taken me this long to get around to playing with it.

Having tried it now, I really can’t believe what I’ve been missing.

Sophie’s Roses

Last weekend I had the wonderful pleasure of having one of my best friends, Sophie to stay with me!

We had a lovely time out for dinner and drinks on the Friday night, and on the Saturday morning she asked me to paint her nails

Sophie's Roses

You can’t do wrong with a simple floral design!

Sophie has such lovely long nails that they are so easy to paint, and she’s already got her hand poses down!

Springtime Again!

Posted on: May 28th, 2014 by shewhodoesnails  1 Comment

As the weather has been so wonderful and spring-like again, I just had to do something cute and floral, I mean, who doesn’t love a floral mani?

All you need for this mani is a polish for the background colour, two polishes in different shades of the same colour, a green polish for the leaves, and a tiny paintbrush for the detail work!

Review: Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets

If you’ve been shopping recently, you might have noticed a new section in the Revlon nail polish stand.

Naturally I am drawn to any new displays, but these snazzy bottle lids and the word ‘Parfumerie’ over the top really got me excited.

Parfumerie polishes are Revlon’s new range of perfumed polishes…yes you read right, perfumed polishes.

I bought four of these polishes, and today I am reviewing Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets.

Mouse Trap!

I am so excited to show you this manicure… I painted this a few nights ago and love how cute and random it is!

It’s also a little ironic, as I really really hate cheese. I do, however, love mice and rats, as I had nine pet rats a few years back!
