Last weekend I had the wonderful pleasure of having one of my best friends, Sophie to stay with me!
We had a lovely time out for dinner and drinks on the Friday night, and on the Saturday morning she asked me to paint her nails…
You can’t do wrong with a simple floral design!
Sophie has such lovely long nails that they are so easy to paint, and she’s already got her hand poses down!
As the weather has been so wonderful and spring-like again, I just had to do something cute and floral, I mean, who doesn’t love a floral mani?
All you need for this mani is a polish for the background colour, two polishes in different shades of the same colour, a green polish for the leaves, and a tiny paintbrush for the detail work!
If there wasn’t already enough excitement this week with the new blog design, I’ve launched my own shewhodoesnails YouTube channel!
You can find the link to in the bar at the top of this blog, or visit this link here!

And now onto my video….you might recognize this design from about a year ago, so I thought I would recreate it for #ThrowBackThursday!
I created a quick and easy little tutorial for Tiffany inspired nails that you can follow along with from home. If you like it, please share it with your friends and family on Facebook or Twitter so they can enjoy it too!
Oh my goodness. I cannot believe that it has been four whole months since I last painted my nails for you all. That really is disgraceful!
First off, a big apology for vanishing off the face of the earth after Christmas. I very naughtily started biting my nails again, then managed to slice off a bit of the end of my finger, so have been waiting for the time to be right to come back to you all.
So of course, I had to come back on a good one. I give you…… Tinkerbell!!
It’s Saturday and I’ve finished work for Christmas!! Woooooo! 11 whole days off and I’m so excited about it. Can’t wait to start brainstorming some ideas for nail art for the new year. Did you manage to get time off work over Christmas?
Today’s tutorial is another part of the true Christmas story….the wise men!
