This polish is one I picked up at the W7 press day last year, and unbelievably, it’s taken me this long to get around to playing with it.
Having tried it now, I really can’t believe what I’ve been missing.
Last weekend I had the wonderful pleasure of having one of my best friends, Sophie to stay with me!
We had a lovely time out for dinner and drinks on the Friday night, and on the Saturday morning she asked me to paint her nails…
You can’t do wrong with a simple floral design!
Sophie has such lovely long nails that they are so easy to paint, and she’s already got her hand poses down!
As the weather has been so wonderful and spring-like again, I just had to do something cute and floral, I mean, who doesn’t love a floral mani?
All you need for this mani is a polish for the background colour, two polishes in different shades of the same colour, a green polish for the leaves, and a tiny paintbrush for the detail work!
It’s day number seventeen of our advent calendar, and after the slightly complicated angel nail art design yesterday, I have a nice and easy gingerbread nail art design for you today!
Morning everyone! Have you all opened your advent calendars this morning? I managed to find a couple of Cadbury ones in the end the other day so we’ve had some catching up to do.
Now I bet you’re all wondering what’s behind the door of my nail art advent calendar today. Well, I can tell you that it’s some Christmas Lights!!
Morning all It’s Saturday! Hooray! We’re off to start Christmas shopping soon and I can’t wait, but before then I have a lovely new OPI nail polish to show you.
A couple of days ago I told you about an email I received from Chemist Direct, asking if I would be interested in trying out and reviewing two OPI polishes for them! I showed your their Can’t Let Go polish, but today I have the second polish they sent me to show you!
This is Polka.Com from the OPI Euro Centrale collection, and what a pretty glitterbomb it is!
First off, sorry I was a bit absent from my blog over the weekend. I took some time to prepare for an exciting Christmas surprise I have coming up for you all at the end of the week!
Now, onto today’s review post! This beauty is the delightful Poetic Rose fom the Sublime Collection by Mavala.
Mavala sent me this collection to review a couple of weeks ago and I really have been so impressed with them. I’ve still got two to review, but you can click these links to see my other reviews: Espresso, Amethyst and Ivory Beige.
So I’ve had a request to do a tutorial of how to paint my flamingo nails, and as it is really very easy, I thought I would oblige!
You will need a light blue polish, a bright pink polish, a light pink polish, a small paintbrush and a dotting tool or toothpick. And don’t forget your base coat and topcoat!
